Q: What is this site all about?
A: As the name indicates, All Free Embroidery Designs is a place for embroidery enthusiasts like you and me to share their designs.

Q: Who has started this initiative?
A: It’s me, Shikha Deepak. I have a second website - Embroidery Designs Guide which gives a great deal of info under various categories of embroidery designing.

Q: How do I begin sharing my designs?
A: That’s easy. Kindly go to Add My Design.

Q: How would it benefit me by uploading my designs here?
A: If you are selling a basket of designs of a particular category and wondering where to advertise it, the best way is to put in one design here at our site with a link to your basket. Prospective buyers interested in seeing more of your embroidery designs would follow you back there.

Q: I want to check if my embroidery designs are acceptable to embroidery enthusiasts across the world. Is that possible?
A: Yes. We would enable embroidery enthusiasts across the world to comment on each embroidery design and this would be an ideal way to get an unbiased opinion of your work spanning across all nations of the world.

Q: Is there a limit on the number of designs I can contribute?
A: No. You can upload as many of your designs as you want.

Q: Do you accept any designs?
A: Yes, as long as you are their legal copyright owner. We have had a problem with this in the past and we will be very strict about this rule.

Q: Will you sell my designs?
A: No. Any designs contributed by you will remain free for as long as you keep them up.

Q: Can I remove my designs if I want to?
A: Yes. If you decide that you no longer wish to share your designs, you can remove them at any time.

Q: I registered but didn’t recieve my password…
A: You either made a typo in your email address when you registered. Or, our email was filtered out by your ISP or mail provider. First, please add @all-free-embroidery-designs to your list of trusted senders in your email software and to your ISP/mail service’s whitelist. Then, try to re-register. If this fails, please contact us via our contact form.

Q: Do I need to register to view/download the designs?
A: No. All contributed designs are available for free viewing and download. You need to register only if you want to post your own designs.

Q: How do I get to view the designs?
A: You can see the latest designs on our home page. Alternatively, you can use the navigation options on the right side to view the designs by category or by date.

Q: If these designs are free how do I get them?
A: Of course they are free - completely F-R-E-E.

For Machine embroidery - Click on the download file next to each of the graphic images and you will be able to download a zip file which would contain the digitized embroidery design. You can then embroider them using your computer and the embroidery machine - using tips from PC Machine Guide and machine embroidery.

For Hand embroidery - Embroiderers would give a close up view of the image with some information on the stitches which you would then be able to replicate on your own.
